Full job description
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Excellent understanding of food hygiene, safety standards, and kitchen sanitation practices.
- Ability to develop and present new recipes and menu items.
- Experience managing kitchen staff and coordinating kitchen activities.
- Capable of maintaining consistency and quality under pressure.
- Proficiency in inventory control and food cost management.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school degree/diploma is preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant culinary experience (for mid- to senior-level positions).
- Leadership and team management skills (for senior roles).
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to work long hours in a fast-paced environment.
