Virtual assistant for exciting Australian scale-up

Who are we?

Bilingual by Five is the first bilingual childcare in Western Australia and is currently expanding to Brisbane and Sydney. Checkout this video as well as our website, Facebook and Instagram for more information.

We’ve got a small remote team based in Indonesia are looking to grow it to service our new Brisbane and Sydney based centres!

What you will do

  • New customer support – you’ll lead the administrative process to onboarding new families into our childcare centres.
  • Existing customer support – you’ll assist with phone and email inquiries from our existing families about billings, holidays, changes of days, and more.
  • Management support – our centre directors will be depending on you for important internal reports and admin processes.
  • Staffing support – you’ll lead the administrative process to onboarding new staff onto our systems.
  • Ad hoc requests – you’ll receive different requests for initiatives to support the group.

Who we’re looking for

  • A motivated self-starter having a high level of self-discipline, accountability, great organizational habits, and who keeps moving forward without someone looking over your shoulder.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
  • A highly organised person with strong attention to detail and who takes initiatives
  • Someone who is working to develop the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
  • Expertise in Outlook, Excel, Word, Sharepoint & Powerpoint and is able to document business processes
  • Both an independent and a team player - Able to get things done independently, but willing to lend a helping hand to team members.
  • Experience using Asana or equivalent task management software is preferred
  • A tech-savvy individual able to quickly learn new software tools.
  • Availability and commitment to work within Brisbane/Sydney’s working hours. (06:00 Am Jakarta time)
  • Someone who handles confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • This position is open to applicants who reside in Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, Depok (Jabodetabek), and Bali-Indonesia.

Valuable experience for the role

  • Experience in providing remote assistance to business management professionals is desirable
  • Experience in performing the customer service task, managing leads and clients in the education industry is a plus point
  • Experience managing administrative work
  • Experience in social media marketing/ graphic design/video editing is a bonus, however, they are not compulsory

Work environment requirements

- A dedicated space for the home office that is free from distractions

- A steady and fast internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps, which the internet modem is available next to the working desk for the IP phone installation

- Credit towards coworking office costs for the right candidate

Employment type

  • Full time

Remuneration

IDR 12-15 million/ month, including bonus and reimbursement
