Full job description

A luxurious clifftop resort in Bali is searching for a Director of Sales and Marketing to join their team immediately.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on leader with a proven track record in luxury hospitality sales and marketing. They excel in driving global brand positioning, maximising occupancy rates, and implementing both traditional and innovative marketing strategies to elevate the venue as a premier boutique resort operator.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute long-term and short-term sales and marketing strategies to maximise revenue.
  • Balance and allocate accommodation space across different company departments, optimising inventory usage.
  • Drive maximum occupancy rates across all resort properties.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify high-yield customer segments and emerging market trends.
  • Focus on increasing average daily rate (ADR) and occupancy levels while maintaining brand prestige.
  • Oversee day-to-day sales and marketing operations for the resort and all affiliated properties.
  • Identify and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies, targeting corporate, MICE, leisure, and incentive markets.
  • Develop and nurture key strategic partnerships with internal departments, external stakeholders, and high-value clients.
  • Collaborate with the company’s call centers, REX, fractional sales, timeshare sales, and general administration to streamline sales operations.
  • Lead and mentor the Sales & Marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of tactical offers, balancing revenue targets with guest demand.
  • Act as a key member of the resort's senior management team, contributing to overall business growth.

Open for local and expat candidates.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Sales & Marketing in luxury hospitality.
  • Strong background in hotel sales, revenue management, and marketing strategies.
  • Experience working with high-end clientele, travel agencies, OTAs, and corporate accounts.
  • Proven ability to drive sales performance and exceed revenue targets.
  • Deep understanding of market trends, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation.
  • Experience in yield management and pricing strategies to optimise revenue streams.
  • Ability to analyse data and create actionable insights for sales forecasting and marketing campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, brand positioning, and online travel platforms (OTAs, GDS, CRM tools).
  • Experience in content marketing, SEO, PPC, and social media strategies to enhance brand visibility.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of managing high-performing sales teams.
