Full job description
A tourism boat charter company, specialising in providing island transfers, watersports activities and fishing trips, is looking for a strategic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to join their team immediately.
The ideal candidate is highly strategic, yet hands-on, capable of driving business growth, optimising operations, and building a high-performing team. Strong financial acumen, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to align business goals with market opportunities are essential.
This role requires a visionary mindset, leadership excellence, and a hands on approach to scaling the company.
Requirements:
- Open to expatriate candidates.
- Proven experience in a leadership or executive role within a fast-growing business, preferably in tourism, hospitality, or the marine industry.
- Strong track record in scaling a company, business development, and strategic planning.
- A visionary leader with the ability to drive innovation and long-term growth.
- Exceptional leadership skills to inspire, manage, and develop a diverse team in a dynamic environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong ability to identify market opportunities and expand business operations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in branding, marketing, and digital strategy implementation.
- In-depth understanding of the tourism industry, particularly in Bali, is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required, proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute a long-term vision for the company, aligning operations, marketing, and expansion efforts to achieve company goals.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market trends to enhance a company's competitive position.
- Develop and implement strategies to scale the business, improve efficiency, and increase revenue streams.
- Ensure financial sustainability by setting budgets, tracking performance, and optimising profitability.
- Strengthen the brand by shaping high-impact marketing campaigns and social media strategies.
- Drive initiatives to improve service quality, customer satisfaction, and brand loyalty.
- Inspire, mentor, and empower a dedicated team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and regulatory authorities.
- Integrate sustainable and innovative solutions into operations, positioning the company as a leader in eco-friendly tourism.
- Support and guide the Operational Manager in setting clear objectives and refining processes.
