Full job description

A premium oceanfront event destination in Bali is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Sales to join their team.

The ideal candidate will lead and manage all sales activities related to leisure, banquet, and wedding segments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets in the hospitality industry. This role requires a strong understanding of the market, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Requirements:

  • Open for local candidates.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a sales leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the leisure, banquet, and wedding markets.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in sales tools, CRM systems, and marketing software.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to mentor teams and build strong client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to maximise revenue and market share for the leisure, banquet, and wedding segments.
  • Strong and good understanding for these key segments including market behaviour, trends and mapping the market by season.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and trends.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners (Travel agencies, Corporate, PCO, EO, WO etc).
  • Set and pursue annual target.
  • Represent the beach club at industry events and trade shows.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and presentations for potential clients.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement sales promotions and packages to attract new business.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant sales policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales effectiveness.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and ROI.
  • Lead and mentor and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Foster a creative and collaborative team environment.
