The Role
The Head of people (AVP/VP) will be responsible for leading the People & General Affairs team to support our client's growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of talent acquisition, talent management, organizational development, and other HR best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.
  • Talent Acquisition: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring that Seven Retail attracts and retains top talent.
  • Performance Management: Establish and oversee performance management systems that promote accountability and recognition of employee contributions.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to inform HR decisions and assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Partner with departmental leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals and provide guidance on people-related issues.
  • General Affairs: Oversee administrative support, facility management, and corporate communications to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any major; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in human resources or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with HR metrics and reporting.
