PERSOL Indonesia is currently assisting one of our clients in Japanese F&B sector in finding great talent as a Purchasing, Procurement Officer with the requirement as follows:
Working location: Senayan, Central Jakarta
Job Responsibility:
Handle daily purchasing activities for food ingredients, beverages, kitchen supplies, and other operational materials.
Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery time.
Negotiate with vendors to achieve the best cost and service conditions for the company.
Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure all items meet required quality and safety standards.
Work closely with kitchen and store operations teams to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
Monitor stock movement and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortage or overstock situations.
Manage and update supplier databases, quotations, and purchasing records accurately.
Communicate with the finance team to ensure proper documentation and timely payment to vendors.
Support new menu development by sourcing and testing new ingredients or materials.
Contribute to cost control and continuous improvement of the purchasing process
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the F&B or hospitality industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills with suppliers and internal teams.
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic understanding of restaurant operations.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
JAPANESE communication skills required
