Job Summary

The Jewelry Consultant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and expert advice to clients in selecting and purchasing jewelry. The role involves building strong customer relationships, offering personalized recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience that aligns with the store's brand values and sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

  1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store.
  2. Provide a friendly and professional customer experience by addressing inquiries and concerns.
  3. Assist customers in selecting jewelry that suits their style, needs, and budget.
  4. Educate customers about different types of jewelry, including gemstones, metals, and craftsmanship.
  5. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing after-sales support and handling any issues or returns.

Sales and Product Knowledge:

  1. Achieve individual and team sales targets through effective sales techniques.
  2. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the store’s products, including new arrivals and promotions.
  3. Upsell and cross-sell jewelry products and services to maximize sales opportunities.
  4. Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.

Merchandising and Inventory Management:

  1. Assist in the display and organization of jewelry showcases to attract customers.
  2. Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to the management.
  3. Participate in inventory audits and manage stockroom organization.

Relationship Building:

  1. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
  2. Follow up with customers after purchases to ensure satisfaction and foster loyalty.
  3. Engage with clients through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media.

Training and Development:

  1. Stay updated on industry trends, jewelry fashion, and product knowledge.
  2. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance selling skills and product knowledge.
  3. Share knowledge and expertise with team members to foster a collaborative environment.
