Job Description
We are seeking a driven Sales Executive to join our headhunting team, responsible for building and maintaining a robust pipeline of clients seeking top-tier talent. You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying opportunities, crafting tailored recruitment solutions, and closing high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain an active client pipeline through cold outreach, inbound lead qualification, networking, industry events, and referrals.
Conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand client challenges such as revenue goals, attrition issues, and succession planning needs, and align them with our retained or contingent search solutions.
Manage the full sales cycle from proposal to signed contract, consistently achieving or exceeding quarterly revenue targets and maintaining strong deal margins.
Monitor sector-specific hiring trends, funding announcements, and organizational changes to initiate timely outreach and position the firm as a trusted talent advisor.
Build and nurture long-term client relationships, ensuring repeat engagements and high client satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
Experience: 2-3+ years of B2B solution-selling experience, ideally in professional services (executive search, consulting, SaaS, or HR tech).
Sales Skills: Proficient in value-based, consultative sales methodologies with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Tools & Tech: Proficiency with CRM and sales enablement platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Communication: Excellent persuasion, negotiation, and written communication skills; confident in engaging with VP and C-suite stakeholders.
Language: Fluency in English is a MUST; additional languages are a plus for handling global mandates.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience selling retained or executive search services.
Established network of HR and business leaders in technology, finance, and startup sectors.
Background in the headhunting or executive search industry.
