Job Summary:

We are hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer for our client—an organization committed to building a strong and proactive security posture. This role is ideal for someone with deep hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 security and cloud platforms (Azure & AWS) who also excels in incident detection and response.

We’re looking for a professional with good English communication skills, a strong track record of long-term employment, and a desire to grow with our client in a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, monitor, and maintain Microsoft 365 security tools such as Defender for Microsoft 365, Intune, Conditional Access, and Azure AD.
• Support cloud security across Azure and AWS environments.
• Lead and assist in incident detection, analysis, and response across multiple systems
• Review logs, alerts, and dashboards daily to identify potential threats
• Assist in conducting vulnerability scans, internal audits, and basic penetration testing.
• Implement and update basic security policies, procedures, and awareness initiatives.
• Support the development of incident response plans and security metrics (KPI, KRI).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement security improvements.
• Maintain documentation for security controls and processes.
• Support external client audits and ensure compliance with policies and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• At least 5 years' experience in cybersecurity or IT security engineering, with proven track record of handling security incidents.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 security tools.
• Familiarity with Azure and AWS cloud security features.
• Good command of English (spoken and written) for daily communication with internal and external teams.
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or similar).
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Able to work both independently and in a team.
• Proactive, responsible, and open to continuous improvement.
